We have arrived Kuala Lumbur (KL) Airport @ 8:00 AM on 17-Oct-2010. The weather was very good (24 Degree) not cold or hot. After the easy emigration and baggage collection we headed to PRAC (Pacific Rent A Car. http://www.iprac.com/) rent a car counter in KL Air port. Our Proton Persona was ready there to have historic experience with us. My UAE driving license was valid there without any International driving license but I have made International Driving License in order to avoided further obstacle. The rent a car only need UAE license or Indian driving license. Shad was very happy to know his license is valid there. We requested an additional driving insurance for Shad. But they denied because he is Just 18 Year OLD. Sorry Shad next time you can
The sales executing head to Rent A Car Parking BAY in KL Airport and there parked our Proton Persona. What a lovely moment.
We loaded all our baggage in the and equipped our navigation gadgets
We are out from the Rent a Car parking bay and middle of the road.
Oh what a moment was it.
I am new to a place with a car driven by us
New language,
New roads,
New culture,
I can’t express it.
Amazing experience.
After a while to experience the right hand side driving I slowly moved through the pre defined routes that was done as homework and spend some time on it. We reached a small township called “Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi” where we visited a Gas Station owned by PETRONAS. We where still was in that excitement and some have I forget to shoot and photos during this time. We had a light break fast in this convenient store and brought some necessary Groceries. We continued our pre planned trip. Slowly we relieved from the addiction and realized the necessary of having Malaysian SIM card on our mobile. Roaming UAE DU/Etisalat is highly expensive. In other end telecommunication and GAS costs in Malaysia is very very cheap.
We head to another township called Nilai and tried to find a SIMcar but no luck. For them it was early morning and shops are yet to be opened.
On the way we found a small street fruit shop and stopped there for a Tender Coconut.
Fruits and Vegetables are very cheap and highly available in Malaysia.
Our Proton Persona Parked outside
Tamil Ethnic Malaysian Street vendor preparing Tender Coconut for us
This is where they are living. No complaint
Simple …………………….Simple ………………….Simple…………………….
At this stop we moved our camera to front of the car and started looking for a chance to shoot.
After a while as planned we moved to village side roads rather highway. In my trip I have planned almost village roads.
Further we reached a village called “Kampung Mantin Dalam” there we found a small equestrian club
Later I managed get their website http://asequine.blogspot.com. We visited this club and taken some photos

Further we head to a small village called Ligging. Between Kampung Rawa and Kampung Semanthong A very surprise incident happened in this village.
I had a friend his name is “Bilal Baseel”, his father in law (Passed away May Allah forgive him) was in Malaysia. Before my trip I asked him where was he working in Malaysia. He said it is in a village but very very difficult to reach there. Very surprisingly I reached the same village and went to this shop where he was working and I managed to buy my Sim card. These people where shocked to see some Malabaris coming this village by driving a car. It is almost impossible as they believe.
Abdul Majeed and Abdul Gafoor in the Shop.
After our purchase they insist us to have lunch with then. This was a special Lunch prepared for a party that somebody is leaving to India today.
Nearest restaurant. He is explaining about the kinds of food they are selling
After the meal we back to shop and found a Tribal man friend of Abdul Majeed.
Abdul Majeed is requesting to the Tribal man to show us some of their places. He agreed and we left with this Tribal man
I don’t remember his name. He driven us for another 7 KM and detoured to a wild trail.
There we found another man
We don’t know his name too
House of the tribe man (Where modern meets nature)
He invited us to his house
He is showing his weapon to us. It is poisoned.
Then we continue our trip
Nice and Beautiful road. I always compare Malaysia is like Kerala but good road.
Alhamdulilla Masjid is everywhere
Chinese Cemetery. Inner part of Malaysia.
Passing through mountains, Villages and almost every where
This is a board in front of a School (Sekolah). The concept is to mix the Tribal children with civilized children.
Toll gated everywhere and it is expensive.
Street vendor in Genting Sempah
Gods Gods Gods everywhere false gods. There is only one god that is our creator not the one which is created by us. Worship places on the way to Genting Highland
By evening we have reached Genting Highland
First world Hotel in Genting Highland
Make a wish roll a coin. You have to make wish and roll a coin. If the coin stays for a long time then your wish comes true.
See how they are cheating people.
At night we have started our journey to hit IPOH.
On the way near to Kampung Kalong Tengah we had our prayer (Isha) in a village Masjid. Couple of Muslim brothers where there camped for Tableegue Jamath. They offer a Malaysian traditional dinner for us. Those photos are not with me right now. Will update later. Now it is night and we want to find a place to sleep. We navigated a resort in our Garmin GPS called Kamaru Ayaisha Resort.
As we reach there we found nothing and it is a forest. We come back again and found a nice stay at Kuala Kubu Baru. It was a Government Rest House called Rumah Rehat rest House
